Recruitment opens for Land Rover G4 Challenge by Auto123.com |

The Land Rover G4 Challenge is one of the most exciting off-road driving adventures there is, and the event's organizers have now opened recruitment for U.S. participants wanting to represent their country. An equal opportunity mud-slinging adventure, the G4 Challenge is open to male and female applicants. Interested parties can apply online- before a grueling selection process narrows the list down to a team of two. This team will ultimately compete against 17 other countries.
The US selection process begins this May in Nevada, and the successful team will travel to remote locations in Asia to compete in off-road driving mixed with physical challenges like kayaking, mountain-biking and climbing. It's a true test of man, woman and British 4x4. "Land Rover has a history of exploration and adventure, so it's fitting for us to stage a challenge where we set a priority on driving talent while retaining an exciting mix of adventure," said Chris Marchand, VP of marketing and sales at Land Rover North America. This year also marks the first time the Land Rover G4 Challenge will be run with the aim of raising funds for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
